game fan art

I was lucky enough to work on the latest installment of unreal tournament as a character concept artist, but the position didnt really afford me the opportunity to do any really "fun" pieces for myself. the demo is out and looks kick ass, and the game will be out within a couple weeks, so I figured this would be something fun to do.

This is still wip as I am painting the entire body, but I thought I would share my work so far. I'll post more as I go along. I'm taking some liberties from my original skaarj design and stylizing a bit just for fun.

I suck at lighting..but when I get the shapes and details blocked in I will spend some time defining a light source...
...heres an update...I'll post again when its finished.
