game avatars

Did up these avatars for a game ........... that won't be using them...... oh well. The game designer decided to go with 3D instead. These came out sort of raw looking (not quite done). I'm not sure why. Both done up in ps7 with a laserbeam wielding mouse.

thanks..... I'm thinking I should have kept the hair on the same layer as the head in photoshop.

Wow that second totally reminds me of Russel Crowe....

He was one of my references.....the other keanu reeves. Russell seems to push through a lot more.....probably cause of the eyes

there needs to be a shadow around the hair line =)

hmmmmm........your probably right. I would say the hair needs to blend more with face. Maybe some shadows between individual and groups of hair roots.
