I saw this image on a workstation next to me. I'm paintin' it for a pratice excercise. I'm mostly focusin' on the colors, more than the drawing. Please let me know what you think, and methods of improving it.It's about 30% done. Finishing this is a must. I what to become better.

Cool! You're going beyond your source material. Bummer it's a copy, only because it's coming out so well. My only suggestion would be maybe some rim lighting on her face to seperate it out more, and more definition to the short hair on the back of her head (looks a little flat compared to the rest). I really like the rendering of the clothing.

Hmmm..rim lightin'. I heard that term in a Maya session a couple of time. I'll try it. It's just a test for me. I really don't think it's good. I'm new still digital paintin'. I stopped for a couple of years. 2003 is my back year....thanks Tedsuo:)
