Here's a sketch I did...let me know what you think. I don't think I'll "finish" it, as I'm not all that skilled in PS yet... and I can't get Painter...

Its not bad, very simple, not much detail but it makes it look bold and fresh, not crowded and not smudged, not messy, looks good. Looks like a plan for some sort of movie scenario or something, y'know like a scenario sketch.
I like it, its simplicity doesnt drag away from it.

real clean and nice like eugi said, no smudges very good! : )

I only have two minor crits, if I may be so bold. Is it me or does the upper left building seem to suddenly shift to a different vanishing point around the lower bridge level?

I also think the two ellipses on the left side are off. If those are circles when viewed from the top of the building they will be a little narrower off to the side of the viewer like that.
Check out http://www.drawthrough.com/tutorials/ellipses.html for great info on ellipses.

Great stuff, I never can keep my technical drawings that clean : D Who cares if you dont have painter You should hit it with some markers : D

Thanks for the comments guys!

good eye on the perspective :) The top left building actually tapers in at the top, giving it the odd perspective (visual tension and all that). So it'd look something like this in profile view:

---\
......\
.......\
.......|
.......|
.......|
.......|

(im no ascii artist lol)

As far as the ellipses...good catch - they probably should be a bit smaller degree...Thanks for the tips

Cheers!
