Phobias?

I was just curious of what kind of phobias people here have. Snakes, Spiders, hights etc?

I just saw this article. I don't know why but the mere idea that giant and colossal squid actually exist just creeps me out. Could you imagine seeing one of these things alive and up close? I know it's unlikely as they live in freezing waters at extreme depths, but still...

2 getting cheloids - (sic?) that's when you get a lot of scar tissue from a cut or piercing, my mom got those from getting her ears pierced, so I will never get anything pierced I bet. although I have tattoos and am going to get more,, I bet you can get them from that too : (

3 not very afraid of heights but, looking up at high places. if I were to visit the sistine chapel I would probably get all woozy for a while

Also, if you are not afraid of technology, you don't understand what is or will be possible.

I'm afraid of dying early. For some reason I'm more worried about being killed by a giant asteroid more than killing myself while skiing, even though the latter is more likely.

I think it started when I had a nightmare that I looked up into the sky and suddenly lifted off the ground and couldn't get back down and floated off into the stratosphere...

I get shivers all over when i see knife or razor cuts, though when I cut myself it doesn't bother me. Moving or spinning saws kinda freak me out to I guess because i'm afraid to lose a finger or hand

insects and spiders creep me outif they get on me...otherwise im fine
and deep water freaks me out, i always feel like something is gonna come up and take a bite outta me or drag me down..

and spiders - I scream like a little girl when i see spiders. But I cant kill them because I know they eat other bugs and are generally beneficial. :/

I am afraid to swim in water where I cant see the bottom...

Once when I was younger I was convinced that I was possesed by the devil or a demon. I was freaking out for months about it.. I still get the chills thinking about it and cant watch the exorcist... Imagine if I was actually religious..

I am deathly afraid of aliens.. I believe in them and hate them.. Ever see Fire in the Sky? damn...

I have a fear of getting shot by ghetto gangsta thugs.. Some close freinds of mine got 2 bullets shot into their car just for looking at them. I had a guy follow me home and threaten to kick my ass with a group of them for just looking at them. I hate that mentality and get nervous every time I pull up next to another carnow. I refuse to look at the person next to me and get pissed if the passenger I am driving looks over.... I think this is my biggest fear... I hate that...

Dipsophobia- Fear of drinking ( any alcoholic drink. kinda afraid of getting drunk. pretty much i think if i get drunk i wont ever not be myself or not drunk anymore)

Achluophobia- Fear of darkness (hate tkinking about what can be lurking there. always think something is gonna jump out at me)

Altophobia- Fear of heights ( fell of the monkey bars in 1st grade while looking at the ground. now i hate heights)

Monophobia- Fear of solitude or being alone.

Question: If you stepped on a mine bulit to inflict painful demoralizing damage by jumping 2 feet into the air, explode, shatter your legbones into splinters shooting up into your intestines along with bubbles of congested blood, (meaning you would die of bloodloss rather than being dismembered quicky as some tankmines do with mineclearers), would you rather cut off the foot standing on the mine with a chainsaw to avoid this pain and live without your foot?

I would get down on my knees... and watch that bird...

I'm afraid of heights. If i'm on a building, that's fine, but if I'm on a narrow ledge of some sort really high up and the wind is pushing me, then i freak.

I can't swim that well so i'm afraid of bottomless pits of water.

1. fish, not goldfish and stuff but say a fish store, i get so freaked out seeing tanks and tanks of fish, its the water that adds to the effect -.-''

the other day i was in the school library and the door opened, i heard a pow sound outside which was a book dropping on the floor and i heard a girl scream, my first reaction was okay that was a book, then 1 second later i thought of a gunshot and i ducked down and my buds were looking at me all weird.
