It's a frickin' badass box, dammit.

I finished it up, today. Took me about 6 sporadic hours, I think. Mostly intended as a textural study, but I was also seeing how well I can imitate Chopping Block's* harsh ink effects. I have future intentions for this piece.

I was going for a surreal (which is why I didn't make it a perfect cube), haunted look, but not too forbodingly. Thoughts?

Nice concept anyway, I think i never saw someone just drawing a BOX :p

I like the lithographic type feel to the drawing. But needs to be crisper. If you do wonky perspective don't be shy! make it really wacky. The only serious crit is easily put right, the handle isn't strong enough and merges into the background. But its different and thats nearly always good!

That's a very good suggestion, thank you. I think I'll implement those ideas when I'm ready to take the image to the next phase.
