This is about 1 hour or so being my first digital painting in Painter 6.
Using the Ryan Church gnomon dvd (future architecture) as reference to learn the techniques :D
Appriciate crits, and already aware of the not so straight lines, and some places lack of detail :D

I like itt, youve caught an atmosphere in there. To me it lookjs depressing prehaps a train station just after the 2055 rat race?
Im not to shore what is going on at the end?

These are good DVDs aren't they? I have a few left to go through and then take my turn at it.
My initial impression and thoughts:
1. You definitely want to work from perspective lines--right now it is more stylized--almost cubist with a combination of perspectives.
2. There is too even a pattern of light and dark patches, so it's hard for my eye to focus on any one area. Ryan seems to emphasize the idea of creating a vignette to keep your eye toward the center of the image.
3. Some of the people shapes vary a bit and look a bit less people-like. The trick is to get them to look like people with a minimal of stroke.
Nice start. Show us the future ones.
I will try to work on one this week hopefully.
