Hello,

My name is Hannah and I have been on and off this site for about a year, maybe longer, but not active at all as far as posting work. I am a little overwhelmed by the talent and size of this place. I would like someone to help me in finding my way around here and also maybe help me with my portfolio. Right now all I have are some paintings and sculpts I did on slide.com. I would very much like some tips in building a professional looking portfolio.

I have been drawing most of my life but just seriously for the past couple of years. I work in different mediums and usually create anything fantasy (mostly mermaids and faeries), but I am willing to learn anything you want to teach me. I also sculpt (paper mache, sculpey, and clay). I am pretty much self-taught so I know there are many areas I can improve in. Right now I am enrolled in online course at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in the Graphic Design program (I would really like to be in the Animation Program) until I can submit my portfolio for Animation. Between work and school I really don't have much time in between for anything, but I am trying.

I am very outgoing and I take criticism pretty well, well as long as you're not too mean to me. If you are interested in helping me please send me a private message and I will send you a link to my slide shows, so you can see what you will be working with =) .

Thanks for your time and consideration! I look forward to meeting some new people and making new friends on here!

Take care, Hannah
