Hey, everyone!

I've been searching for any suitable brushes which is as versatile as the round brush. I am generally looking for something that is controllable. My texture brushes all seem quite chaotic and it is what's preventing me from using them more often. If anybody has any recommendations or advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

You could try these Presets:

If you want to edit your own brushes, give some attention to Dual Brushes and play with the brush dabs, use a soft round on one and a weird dab on the other then combine, you'll get some incredible results, it's how I've made most of my watercolors brushes, people say that you can't do watercolors in Photoshop but that's not true at all, I find Photoshop one of the best for watercolors along with the Digital Watercolors of Painter.

For texture, I find I get the best control if I disable Pressure for transparency, this way it doesn't affect the texture.
