How to save selected brushes for up/download

I would like to know if there is a method of saving particular brushes out of my list. Is it only possible to save a whole Brush list? Also, as a side question, when opening a brush file is it possible to have it open into it's own new list? Thank you!

If I'm understanding this correctly, it's no to both questions.

Regarding your first question, what works for me is having a separate brushset where I save experimental/potentially useful brushes for future use and that I don't want to have in my regular set all the time.

And for the side question I don't think that's possible for the reason that it would take Photoshop to have two windows open for the same one thing. I've never seen PS do that with the brushes, or the layers, or anything and it wouldn't be very ergonomical if you ask me.
