Anybody have any advice for a beginner on how to construct a small model of a vehicle (less than 1' long)? I already have it drawn out as a style sheet and I was originally thinking of sculpting it-- but I was wondering what's the best way to approach something like this? The vehicle is something like a transformer (robot/truck) with angular mechanical looking areas as well as large, smooth rounded parts--which I am guessing is going to be hard to sculpt... I'd like to post the drawing but it's the property of the client. Any suggested techniques?
