Cloud/Smoke VFX Consultant - We need help with our opening logo, looking for a highly skilled consultant in the creation of our "opening logo" 15-20 seconds long. Optional Software Experience: Vue7. Examples: See Below

Opening Logo: Walt Disney Pictures

12 Seconds Reversed. View From City up into Cloud layer.
Opening Logo: Dreamworks SKG

Cloud Layers More cartoon"ish".

We have a in progress storyboard similar to Walt Disney's Opening with the exception of a reverse time map. The View of Boston in 1800's up through a layer of clouds, with a ship breaking through clouds, dropping sails and "flying" away into the distance followed by a vector logo.

We want a powerful piece and something that is eye catching just how Walt has captured the eyes of many. We are an up and coming computer animated film collaboration and hope to break the barriers of the industry in the near future.

We tried multiple ways of doing this with poor results and really need a professional to make this happen. We provide matte paintings and digital model assets.

The second approach is using 3DSMax and using the Aftershock plugins for their smoke plugins.

Consultant who demonstrates an outstanding job will most likely be hired back as a particle and dynamics artist on our upcoming budgeted feature film.

ScanlineFX (Los Angeles) quoted $25,000 which is rather expensive for a 20 second piece. So anything below that would be appreciated.
