Hi, Im just a newbee here and trying to learn on how to paint .
For this image I was "heavily inspired" by my fav. artist G. Brom.
This is work in progress. Can you say what do you think.
Anything (likes , hates, improvements to be done. Any ideas on the background? )
Much appreciated, thanks.

To be the firt that you have colored itīs very good. Maybe the background is a little strange, but thus itīs the art. I think that if you had painted blood splashes in the background instead you have drown it had been better with which it is the subject.

I hope that this will help you, bye

First off, I really dig this picture. I like the coloring so far, and the overall feel.

My only real crit would be the trenchcoat. Having it cover up most of the lower body doesn't feel right, particularly with the open stance he has. Maybe having it billowing out behind him would give a nice effect, especially with his "bring it on" attitude. Also, if there's something going on with the left leg, the coat is hiding it, making it look significantly shorter than his right.

Anyways it looks nice so far, can't wait to see it further along.

Great Image. My crit would be that the background is too in focus. It seems to take the focus away from the figure. I would apply a very little blur to the backgrund. Besides that the character rocks!
