Looking for a quote

Hello artists,

So I'm looking for a quote so I know how much this will run me. Just give a rough estimate of time and price if you could please it would help a lot. Also if you are interested in the described below then please state so (otherwise I will assume you aren't). Thanks!

Project:

Intro animated or CGI video for new game. Intro should be of good quality. I have a sound guy who will do the music for it, just looking for the art and animation. Should be between 2-5 minutes long (go ahead and put a range of quotes for the range of time). Realistic fantasy, not anime. Will involve quite a few short scenes. Some of the village, some of the dungeons, some of battles with monsters, some of the sky, some of a castle. Will involve multiple characters and classes. Some physical attacks, some magical.

All direction will be given in text and some visual form (character and class concepts already created, monsters already created), artist will sketch up characters, monsters, scenes, and storyboard of intro.

Time is not a huge issue, I'd guess around 3 months? Longer if needed.


This isn't a job posting per say, I'd just like to get some estimated prices and time frames from the artist community then I'll post the project in the proper place. As I said, IF you are interested then please indicate in your reply.

Do you have concept art for the characters or models?
If you have models, are the characters and creatures rigged? Is there dialogue? If so do you have the heads rigged to do lip sync?
What is the total number of animated assets?
What is the total number of unique locations?

For one person to storyboard, texture, build, rig, stage and animate characters with environments to final pass is more than three months fulltime.
On average a final pass character takes a weeks time to create that is 40 hours of work. Times that by each character before you start animating them in a scene.

It is a pricing guide for employers and artist , of the course if can say more, i could say you... must be inserted like rules in the begin each forum where there is art job , maybe like a law ,...usually some employers say " HEY, we are go brake down the comics industries" . Of the course the top market continue as before , in the top... so have been only our side to broken !
... Anothers say "HEY Get Out your Name, i will not paid you, that's enough exposure name yourself over my great issue "
...Maybe where world this we are get fame for only 15 seconds, inst important fame.
In the end we are forgot always.

Extra note : but isnt your case where you is searching a payment way... how i mentioned before,the guideline are everyone.
