Somehing about the face doesn't look right to me.

I like the shading otherwise.

I may be seeing it wrong, but it looks to me as if her head is off center. If she were facing me, I think her head would be too far to the right.

Personally I'd like a little more value contrast, a little more core to your shadows. Also, it's generally a good idea to treat the ground the same as the figure. In this case, she's sitting on what seems to be some drapery, yet it's just a line drawing. Perhaps add some value?

You've got a nice understanding of the figure. I agree with the above post though, the head appears slightly off center given the angle of the shoulders. Nice rendering as well.

On a strange side not, I'm not sure about your experience level, but your treatment of the breasts is well done. I see a lot of people drawing breasts so unrealistically. Again, you seem to have a great understanding of the figure.

you need to push the darks in your pics. It looks too flat right now.

thanks for the crits. i agree about the head. contrast is something im trying to work on as well. these are all in my sketchbook. trying some different approaches after seeing llewelyn's figure demo

-sorry about the ghost image, the paper is pretty thin
