Burn tool problem

So suddenly, out of the blue, whenever I use the burn tool, I have to wait forever for the computer to process it after every stroke. The longer the stroke(s) or the higher the exposure, the longer it takes. I'm on a Mac Pro with dual quad processors, so that's not the problem, and besides, it's been working fine until yesterday.

As far as I can tell, this problem is only occurring with the burn tool.

It's driving me nuts. What the hell?

Are you certain it has nothing to do with your ram?

Are you using a more complex brush? :)

It's usually a complex brush or just the size in which you are using it. Try adjusting the spacing.

Well, I don't know what the problem was but now it's gone. I've done nothing and yet now everything works fine, just like it did before. :er:
