Magnifier preferences

Hi guys, me again with a daft question.

Does anyone know how to set the magnification prefs in painter 11?

Painter x has a magnification increment % setting in general preferences but I can't find anything similar in Painter 11.

The jumps it's making now are diabolical. I have painter x set up to 5% jumps when I click on the page, really nice control.

I've been told by Corel unsupportive support that I should reinstall the os to get rid of some of the other bugs too, but how many freelancers have got the best part of a day to reinstall everything...............

It appears that feature has been taken out of Painter because I cannot see it either in Painter 11

Sorry, can't help you on this one, I didn't upgrade to p.11
I think you should post your question at painterfactory.com boards - Wendy @ Corel has been ocassionally helping with less common questions;
I assume she could leave a note for coders so this feature at least had chances to make it back into painter.

Good thing is that this has been brought to the attention of Steve Szoczie for consideration in Painter 12.

If you use the default zoom of the tablet it will zoom out pretty bad, try using control plus - or the other one, place those in my tablet now the zooms moves fine.

I think Elsevilla means the keystrokes ctrl + or ctrl - (which is for PC), or cmd + or cmd - (mac) and allocating them to one of the ExpressKeys in your Wacom Tablet Properties options. This wont help you change the default zoom settings tho.

Just change the zoom with keyboard keys with control - or control = , im mac dont know what they are but, the default zooming in wacom on the tablet makes the zoom of painter lameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

if you dont believe me move the zoom of the tablet and check annoying results in zoom, using the keyboard on the tablet, gives you great zooms like 25%, 50% 66% or 100%. So i recommend users of painter to do this.

Yeah works better, try comparing the default zoom of the tablet vs the keyboard zoom, you will see a huge difference.
