I'd like to know if there are any good movies coming out soon. The last couple of summers I had a hard time choosing what awesome movie I was going to see. This year not so much.
Zapp!

Predators and Toy Story 3 are the movies I'm most looking forward to. And I might go and see Inception if its reviews are any good.

I wasn't crazy about the first two toy stories, so I'm not sure if I want to see 3. Despicable Me looks like it could go either way. I do want to see The Other Guys, but I'm still not 100%

Edit:
I forgot about Dinner for Schmucks. But I'm not sure if I'm going to pay $10 to see it. I'd rather just redbox this one.

City Island was absolutely fantastic, if you haven't seen it. Other than that there really hasn't been much for films this year. Exit Through the Gift Shop was AWESOME, and The Ghost Writer was very impressive. Other than those three, it's been weak. I'm seeing Toy Story 3 tonight, and I'm sure it'll be great (Pixar has never done wrong, in my book.)
I'm honestly not really looking forward to anything much. The new film with Leonardo DiCaprio by the guy who did The Dark Knight looks like it can be great, I forget what it's called.

Jacob, you're referring to Inception.
I head Despicable Me may be good. But as for Summer movies...I think I'm done. Although Inception sounds interesting, it pissed me off for putting out one of those non-movie trailers, where it shows who is in it, who directed it and look at the cool dude we hired for a musical score and that's it! I just wanted a clue to the movie dammit. District 9 did that perfectly.

Some movies in the fall/winter actually look more promising than what they put out for the summer this year.

Inception looks good, so did Shutter Island and that sucked a bag of dicks. These two movies look exactly the same. Christopher Nolan is a great director, but Martin Scorsese is the greatest and he made Shitter Island. I'm too jaded now.

Shutter Island was at least decent, IMO. I definitely didn't hate it. And DiCaprio doesn't play the same guy in all of the films he does. He's at least better than that...

I guess having the ending spoiled may have spoiled it. Nobody said Di Caprio had no range, but ironically did recycle the same accent he did on Departed in Shutter Island.

after seeing Cage in Kick ass, and Disney has some pretty good films like Pirates, I'm settled that Sorcerer's might be good. I thought the trailer looked great!

Inception has an average of 9.6 on IMDB. Have to see that movie.
It does seem like a rip off on Paprika, but that might just be a good thing...

Wow...
It is a slight ripoff of Paprika. That's not a good thing. The trailer is so cheesy.

Shutter Island was great! Inception looks great too. Why haven't I ever heard of paprika? Man that movie looks cool. I love Japanese anime movies.

Not really, I'll just stick with watching Ralph Bakshi's old movies, Beavis & Butt-Head, Daria, P&T: Bullshit!, and Fist of the North Star subbed.

Be sure to check out Millenium Actress too. As well as Satoshi Kons other movies. Millenium Actress is his best imo. :)
