Thanks. just keep the ball rolling. I'd really like to see it so I can improve on my portraits.. my college is crap and I learn most of what I know on my own or from picking up dvd's like SB's. TImes are hard, trying to get better so I can make some bread. asap.

Just my weekly update, still no word on a possible release date and my portrait painting from reference continues to suffer. Have you no humanity MB!! Just letting my portraits from reference fall short, with poor values, bad form, and inept color picking. Oh the tubes of paint I have wasted with my half-hazard brush strokes and lack of knowledge. Oh cruel world, take me now. lol ha :frustrated: :vodka1: :D

I was just going to post about this, after reading Shawn Barber's tweet.
To the CA/MB people:
To my understanding the material is already shot, now it has to be edited and burned on DVDs.
Is there anything we can do to make this happen? Like, pre-order or something?

I know they shot it and I was told it would be out in JAN... now its July almost AUG and still no DVD.. and NOW "it might not happen"... wish we knew why if its already shot and just needed to be edited.. why wouldn't it be a go.. surely there is plenty of demand.

not being "sharky".. just a little irritated about the whole thing. I know they don't owe us anything.. just sucks cuz I was told by SB it would be out in JAN.. then MB told me later that the dude that does the editing had been out of town and that it was a priority and it would be out sometime in the future.. so I've waited patiently for months, and now SB lets off this tweet that doesn't really explain anything. I just would like someone to fill in all the blanks on this thats all.

Well, we all want the thing - I for one depend on stuff like this to get into college (can't afford actual classes atm). And being a big fan of Barber's work, I'd be extremely pleased to learn portraiture from him...
Let's hope it happens in the next month/two/three so I have time to swallow all the information before I apply. After all, he said it might not happen! ;-)

yea I'm kinda in the same boat.. except i depend on stuff like this and researching on my own bc my school sucks ass. lol

this is a HUGE disappointment if its not gonna happen. I've supported other MB projects and bought several downloads... might start looking at more reliable sites if things get strung out and then canned.. personally I would say don't mention projects unless your ready to roll with them, then you don't have to worry about people waiting and then being told its not happening.

I know he said "might".. but who knows, it probably won't.. and no one will probably explain either. so thats that I guess.

interesting.. would be nice if MB would weigh in on this.

STILL waiting on a response. Would think that MB wouldn't want people impersonating their staff or pretending to be associated with them.

man... getting in touch with anyone around here is damn near impossible it seems. The users support MB and CA but they DO NOT bother to return the favor.
