Hey guys,
Just sharing the first release from The Black Cat Revolution.
This started about 18 months ago on no budget, with myself producing the artwork, and a writer, Anthony Castle (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1480611853&ref=ts), doing the storyboard and script. Project leader Rowan Castle (http://www.facebook.com/rowan.g.castle?ref=ts) cut together rough cuts of the product and pitched for approval and startup finance.
Late in the production we enlisted some local vocal talents to give life to the characters, followed by the talents of a motion graphics and sound engineer genius, Ben Knop (http://www.benniknop.com/) (with additional guitar shredding by Rowan Castle) and together we produced this 5 part series (full release date TBA).
The idea was to resource Christian youth programs and workers with the Christian message in a easy to distribute, youth-friendly way. We make no apologies for the religious undertones, but as far as preaching is concerned, we endeavoured not to "bible bash".
I am amazed at what the product became, from such humble beginnings and homemade intentions. By no means is it Pixar worthy, but the fact that we had nearly zero budget and such a limited team and resources, we are proud of what we've made.
