Feedback for Painter 8 drawing please :)

Hey-oh! I'm on the verge of finishing the design for my new website and was planning on using this image for the portal page. Text will be added and whatnot, but I"m more concerned with getting feedback about the drawing quality and the design.

It's basically me atop the back of one of my characters. I'm a little shaky on the coloring of the girl, I feel like her style may not be gelling with that of the unicorn.

Any impressions or criticism would make me very happy.

Sevans: Woo, I passed the picky bastard test! Thanks for the kinds words. And well... most of my character art is like that. I also have a lot of sculptures in my portfolio of spirits and fantasy characters, but they seem to fit into this style somehow.

Nikia: Thanks for the compliment! I was thinking of adding some whiskers to the bugger...

Well, I guess this pic has passed the test; nothing in it seems to be jumping out to anyone as "WRONG!" or "WTF?!", so maybe I was just being uptight about the girl.

...or maybe this pic was too cute and gave people here cavities. :p

I really like this piece as well. It has that cuteness factor to it, which I mean in a good way because it all flows well with the objects in the picture and is easy on the eyes.

It really reminds me of the artwork for the video game Harvest Moon. Great work.

Gr8t: Glad to hear you like it. Funny you should mention Harvest Moon; I was addicted to the PSX version two years ago. Cel shading can be a wonderful thing :)

Your line-art has a nice sketchy feel to it, which seems to work with this image, especially for the unicorn, I would imagine if the lineart was clean on the uni, it wouldnt seem as mystical.
