That's a very cool idea. Something about the lanky arms and design of the face reminds me about The Iron Giant. In any case, my only complaint is about the shoulders. Though they're nicely developed, they don't really connect to the torso the way one would expect. They're a little low, and they just look like they'd fall off. Mess around with that a bit.

I does kinda remind me of two characters. The rock eater from the Neverending Story, and the Iron giant(Like what S51 said). Very nice coloring job on it.

its pretty nice, i like it except the front arm and leg are competing for attention and id stay away from using the photoshop leaf brush, its really obvious.

Thanks for the reply to all. All right, I had not realized but it is looked like the iron giant, will be the subconscious mind. I will watch some book, to improve the anatomy of my drawings and to try that they don´t have pieces that distract. The brush of leaves I am likes, but we will try to use another thing :D.
