Help with BG

I can't think of what to put in the right side of the back ground of this image. The lizard guy has sort of an oriental culture if that helps at all. Thanks for any help you guys can give me. If you feel like criting me on the rest of the image that would be cool too.

Would some vertical, stylized mountains like the kind you would see in scroll paintings work for you? Of course they'd be in silouhette (spelling?) but you could play with the forms of the juniper trees which grow along the slopes of such mountains. Not too much though, I like the negative space that's there already.
