Hi Everyone,
I'll be hosting an art party next month and would like to invite you all to come. The event is called the “Golden Brush” artist competition fundraiser that will benefit artists through “Make and Break”, a non-profit organization that provides artistic opportunities for artists in Vancouver, BC, who face economic barriers to participating in the arts.
There will be 15 artists into 5 teams of 3 to paint a collaborative piece per team. The winning team will be decided by the crowd in terms of which team gets the highest bid. We’ll be auctioning off the limited editions of the paintings (starting at $50 to $250 estimated) along with other fun stuff like the brushes of the painters, painting lessons, studio tours, etc.
Anyways, if you're in or around Vancouver, come on by.

Gallery Address: #1 – 258 East 1st Avenue, Vancouver (Main & 1st)
Time: 6:30pm to 10:30pm
SCHEDULE:
6:30pm Doors Open
7:30pm Door Prizes to be given away to guests & Introduction to the event and artists
8:00pm to 9:00pm Live painting Begins
9:00pm to 9:30pm Artists mix and mingle with the crowds | Pictures with the artists
9:30pm to 10:00pm Live Auction (ltd. Ed. Of paintings, artists brushes, painting lessons, paintings workshops)
10:00pm to 10:10pm Limited Edition Draw (We’ll be giving away a ltd. Edition of one of the paintings to a lucky winner in the crowd
10:30pm Bar Closes
11:00pm Door Closes
PRIZES:
Each art attendee will have a chance to WIN a limited edition painting of one of the paintings painted that night after the live auction at 10pm. The door prizes are a secret so you’ll have to come to see what you’ll WIN at the door at 7:30pm of the night.
