What do you guys think about a thread sharing picture / concept ideas to other people here, which the poster can't draw? I think I am not the only one who has some stuff in mind, but isn't able to transform it with a pencil to a picture on paper.

How could it work?
The poster describes an idea with words and optional additional scribbles. At that moment he doesnt claim any copyright on the idea. It's free to use. The posting gets a number in the thread automatically.

If one of the readers likes an idea, he or she can draw his or her version of it and post it with the posting - number of the idea, maybe also with the Username of the one who imaginated it.

The pictures and ideas could be posted without any order. If an idea has been drawn, but you like it and want also to draw it, you can also add YOUR version of it by posting it. If there are only ideas posted and no pictures, I'll like the thread anyway and it could be an ideapool.

Ideas should (because of e.g. additional scribbles) marked with "Idea", Drawing-Posts with "Answer to post # 123 <--- Posting number of the idea which was used".

What do you think?

a very good idea that takes care of a problem that i have thought about myself pretty often.

if u have an idea youŽd like to see visualized and that u do not plan to use for any commercial purpose this is a nice way to collaborate and perhaps both parties get something out of it. i am really looking forward to see the first artworks produced this way. :lifedrawing:

Idea: Family day in the zoo.

A father, a mother and two children (boy and girl) and their dog in a normal scene visiting the zoo and watching some apes and birds behind glass. The father takes photographs, the mother has the dog on her side. But the air is polluted and all breathing animals need filtered air or pure oxygen. The apes wear gasmasks, the birds a kind of a glass bubble with fiter (see small scribble) and the whole family including the dog also a comfortable kinda bubble helmet and oxyen backpacks like divers (the mask part for the humans should be comfortable to wear, could also be like the helmets in the new movie "Avatar"). The parents got two oxygen bottles because they've bigger lungs and need more oxygen. The children and the dog got smaller bottles. It's not possible to eat drink during using the oxygen bottles, but they can talk and hear each other.

I didn't add oxygen bottles or bubbe helmets to the apes, because they could try to remove their important filters with their own hands. The birds aren't able to remove the bubble helmets. I did a little scribble for the scene, but feel free to change anything and everything what you want. Feel free to add more apes, birds, other animals... Even if this is inspiring to you to invent a whole other picture: Post it, please. I also add some reference material of diver bottles.

Scribble for the scene, for the bird helmet and some reference pics you could find usable:

Big Fish as an underwater tram (transportation) with seats on both sides of the fish. Passengers have to wear some kind of diver suit with oxygen support. Maybe bubble helmets like in the first idea above. Feel free to use it. Copyleft. :)
