Last month I posted shots of my Abe Lincoln Sculpt in progress. I have just finished the sculpture and cast it in bronze polymer. Here are a few photos of the finished piece. This is a half scale sculpture which measures about 13" from top to bottom. I'd love to hear any feedback.

Wow! That's a real beauty. What's the brand of the bronze polymer you used? I'm definitely going to look into it for casting some of my future projects. Thanks.

Chris:
I used smoothcast 1526 from smoothon. To that I mixed in 1/3 bronze powder by volume. This was backed by rigid expanding foam.

Nothing to say but perfect - the expression, the likeness, the details - from the small wrinkles on the face to the texture of the clothes - absolutely love it!

Great work monsterman! fine detailed and very good volumes. The only thing is a small issue with the eyes symetry (right one is slightly lower than the other).
thanks for sharing

Not everyone is symetrical rainart. This is amazing man. Wonderful work! Never occured to me for some reason that you could fake bronzing but you can't tell in the least!

Good observation on the asymmetry. However, if you study Lincoln's facial structure as I did in preparation of this sculpture you would discover that his face is very asymmetrical. His left eye was noticeably higher in real life from being kicked in the head by a horse in his youth. His lower lid also drooped on the right side. I tried to capture all of these anomalies in my sculpture to make it authentic as possible. I even studied a detailed forensic analysis of his facial features in an effort to properly locate all of these important landmarks during my research.
