These are a few reners of my first texture work rlating to characters. Any comments or crits?

only did the texture?
I think there needs to be alot more going on...
it's hard to crit something like this because it really is about how far YOU want to push it.
The arms look very bland since they are just green for the most part.
I would try to add some more muscle, espically in the back area, he looks like a very fit figure, but is looking kind of 'flat' right now.

Good points. I also did the UV maps, and that was also a learning experience for me. I ended up with a bit more stretching then I'd have liked, like on the arms and feet. I also ran into a problem with the consistency of the size of the maps (major seams where the legs join the body) but I think I've worked out how to address that issue. One of the tutorials here mentioned putting on a checker pattern to see what's going on, and "I have seen the light". Any way, thanks for the comments.
