Beautiful colours,
the spacecrafts make a great spiral pattern that draws you in.
I think that if you lighten the value of the small ships in the distant, they would be valied by the atmosphere.
Think about a secondary light source on the ships, a cool blue green ...
That way you could see some of the detail in the shadow side of the ships.
I really love the colour timber you used, it has a lyrical feel and the peach/violet has a calm to counter the aggresive shapes of the ships.
It has a nice cinematic feel to it and good use of space/composition.
Good work!
Please finish it and post again

ChenZan,
Nice work!
The way you veiled the ship really pushes it back in space.
Good use of a secondary light source, the blue really brings the ships into focus and it also goves it a 3D feel.
I really like how you made the ships different, My favorite is the one that looks like a whale.
You can almost hear the atomic hum of the ships.
the ship that is breacking out of the cloud is masterfully done, great touch!
You seem to have a touch for quiet drama, keep this it is a lost art.
It is much harder to tell a story with a quiet moment but it can be just as powerful as a battle scene if done right.
good luck and let's ess more art!

do us a favor and make a smaller watermark...one of the benefits of having your work on the forums is personal exposure. if you bury it in the fear of getting stolen then people wont enjoy it.
you gotta trust that people want to use your images for their destops and such. the big watermark discourages them from that.
nice image though

sorry about the size of the watermark jason, i just recently found out that one of my friends at another site, giantrobot got his stuff ripped and used by some no name band in NY. its was all over the bands website used as rollovers and such, its was a real shame. so i was kinda cautious. thanks for the words compliments though. :)
