I was impressed by the Otis recruiter at a recent porfolio day, he just seemed to ask the right kind of questions about my stuff. He also said that the school has a very big focus on traditional drawing skills no matter what department you go into, which appeals to me. However, looking through their website I have to say I am not very impressed with the student work posted!

So what do you guys know about it? Anyone go there? I'd like the dirt, what kind of a reputation does the school have?

I am currently a sophomore in the digital media program at Otis College of Art and Design. You know what, I've realized something - there are a lot of crappy drawers at my skool. It vexes me how the hell we only have a 10 percent acceptance rate. I've observed that if someone isn't as skilled in drawing; then they may have a great talent in another subject like 3d modeling or motion grraphics.
I also realize that every year, the class gets better and better skill-wise - so I'm guessing that the school is getting more popular. Many of the teachers have written books, have been exhibited, worked at every top company, or has had a high payinh job in regards to their works. A majority in the digital department choose to teach on the side because it's more fun .
There are some awesome people in my class right now; really good concept artists, but I must admit, i do sense a lack of quality and effort in my class which scares me sometimes. The badness just overwhlems the good =/.
If you're worried about making it to the top, Otis provides the tools and connections. It's just how hard you wana play the game. A lot of people jerk off and a lot pull all-nighters every other day. It's all optional in my p0v. I guess this rule applies to all art skools.
I have a lot of friends from Otis who are living large, and I have a lot that are struggling - i guess it's up to how hard ur willin to try.
