My advice to you is to just keep a sketchpad with you at all times and draw, draw, draw. It's the best thing you can do. When you don't really feel like it, draw - when you're watching tv, draw - whenever, draw.
Also, start painting with oil or acrylic, I prefer oil, since it's a good way to relax
and learn by "happy mistakes" when you're tired working on the computer.

What I miss the most is friends who draw alot too, so if you have those, you're lucky :)
