this drawing really sucks, i understand that its a sketch, but with no detail in the lower half of the body, or in the face, the drawing lacks everything a sketch should contain. Just a waste of 20 min.:bash:

it is a good start indeed but I would reccomend taking a kneaded eraser and pulling some highlights out to give teh image some more depth and form. Try and place a hotspot on the tip of the nose and on the metallic objects of his costume.

Grat work otherwise.

I think it's pretty sweet, not bad for twenty minutes! I just think he should be a little more stout and dwarf-like, cuz he's lookin preety slim for Gimli. Nice details on the armor and axes and stuff though.

Your style is very stiff. I think you must have started at the top of Gimli's head and then worked down through his body, detailing every part as you go. I say this because your life drawing skills are a bit off. His hands are way too small and his face is too big to fit inside the helmet.

Your sense fo detail is awesome, but hindered by the misproportions.

I suggest creating a gestural first, a stick figure kind of sketch just to make sure you get the ratios correct. Then you can go in with your details and kick some ass.

Still, not bad for twenty minutes.
