this is a model for a game i'm working on. he's called a jackhammer because of his armor-busting blade attack, and he's all triangles. i built him with polys, and working time was probably 6 hours (though i am getting faster).

i've got some basic animations with him, but may have to do some re-working at some point.

does anyone know a good texturing tutorial for a model like this?

also any crit is appriciated.

cheers

***by the way, first image post :D

Hey, it's looking like a pretty nice model.

I guess the only thing that bothers me a little bit about the creature is that his legs are all forward and so he looks off-balance in the rear.

Instead of having the legs like they are, like this (Side View):
/ / /

I would do them like this:
/ | \

It just seems to me that if the back legs actually go back more, the creature will appear better balanced. I can also picture movements such as sudden lunging or even jumping looking and working better if the back legs face back.

wow, just wow, that looks really nice, maybe you would like to work with my hl2 mod called No More Room In Hell (http://nmrh.hlgaming.com), a half-life 2 mod, its a zombie based coop mod. We have an awesome coder, other great modelers, and we could use someone like you to make some zombies.
