A friend of mine asked me to do this 1:26-scale sculpture of a Suchomimus.
It is made of ironwire, DAS-clay and Super sculpey

Very nice- looks very natural and alive. I especially like the teeth and head.

Thank you! It was a real pain in the ass to put all those teeth on!

Brilliant! I have a feeling this was very well researched and practised.
Great painting, too. Excellent balance between interesting colours and a 'natural' elephant-grey.

Thank you! Your feeling is correct!:) I always do my homework about the animal's anatomy I am working with. With the colors I try to give a natural and realistic look with earth tones. This creature have a short fin, which may have been used during mating season, so I decided to give a brighter colors for it.
You have nice drawings BTW!

Wow, this is impressive. Wonderful job on the skin texture (I can appreciate how much time that amount of detail can take!) The whole thing looks very much alive.

Thanks! It takes a while, no matter that I use rubber texture pads for the skin!
