Hey, guys and gals.
I'll try to keep this sketchbook as updated as possible. I guess a short introduction wouldn't be out of order, so here I go.
I am still a student who will be shortly leaving to go to University for the Fine Arts. I have a incredibly, undeniably strong desire to draw and create what I see in my mind. My thoughts and feelings can be quite intense and imaginative that I have a hard time fully transpiring them into art. So, in short, it is my quest to achieve self-satisfaction and competence with my artistic abilities.
When I was young, in the small grades of elementary, I drew all the time. As I grew older, my interest waned as I saw so many other great things I could do. My writing abilities grew immensely in those times, and I've seriously considered becoming a writer. Yet, this summer, my interests didn't change, but they grew back to the yearning to draw; the feeling I had back in elementary. Of course, I wasn't great in it, but I didn't let up. I continued, and I persisted. I have hopes to include all the drawings from my sketchbooks from this summer, to present day--that is, when I have the time to find them all. Hopefully, you should be able to find some progression.
Welcome to a window to my soul.
