Colleges in NYC

hello all,
I'm currently a high school junior and I have to start thinking about what colleges I want to go to. I want to go into the city but I have no idea which colleges I should check out. I want to go into some kind of college for basically all types of art (concept, comics, sculpture, painting etc...) could ya'll give me some general direction?? thank you ^_^

NYU (http://www.nyu.edu) , Parsons (http://www.parsons.edu/index.html) ,
SVA (http://www.schoolofvisualarts.edu/main2.html) , and Pratt (http://www.pratt.edu/index.php) .

These were listed on a well-known animation studio's website as schools that they hire from. I am visiting NYU on Friday and could let you know more about it after that.

I know one of my favorite artists, Rebecca Guay, went to Pratt.

Your best bet, if you can, is to visit them yourself. And most of all *gets on old and sage soapbox* work your bum off once you get there. Even the best school can produce subpar artists if you don't work. *gets off of soapbox*
