I found your site easy to get around in, nice and clear and generally well laid out.

I also liked the subdued colour scheme, nice to see.

I have one crit however, the girl image used on the pages doesn't seem to represent your work that well. The images that stick in my head are your 'grunge' cartoon illustrations and your photomanips/freaky images. When I see the girl I imagine that you produced more (most) of your work in vector programs.

Personally I would suggest something abit more 'cartoony' or a couple of different vector images for different pages.

The site is easy to navagate, and to the point, which is definetly a plus. I really liked the image of the face, but contrasted with your illustration page, was a bit odd. Perhaps you should take a sample from each area for that particular page (ie, Porky for the illustration page, the face for the Serene and Pretty page).

The striped background that opens with each image is great as well, it helps indicate effort in your work (for some reason that's what I thought when I noted it). It helps keep the new window part of the website. Great design choice.

Over-all I have to say your artwork is great. You have a nice range of skills, and appear to explore various media, techniques and styles. Great job.

Thankyou, thats just the kind of feedback i wanted, constructive and honest. (i've been getting a few; 'yeah that good/crap' comments recently, that are very kind but not very constructive)

In regards to the artwork section and the picture of the girl, i wanted the user to be able to view my work quickly without having to wait for a new backdrop image to download every time. So i chose to stick with a generic image which was created mainly to be in style with the main page.

I know that one of my problems with the site lie in the fact that from opening the main page you don't get a good idea of the work contained within. But the problem is that i have such different styles of work to implement these into the site design would create a look that isn't very consistant. Combine with my limited html knowledge i'm a little stuck.

cheers guys much appreciated your feedback.

k.regards ~ Dave.
