These are a couple of B&W illustrations I did which were inspired by the role play game: Vampire the Masquerade. The concepts are my interpretations based on the descriptions of the clans: Malkavian and Toreador. Hope you like. :)

I'm more partial to the first image than the bottom image. The first image has a great tension and feel to it. The tension in the hands, and the expression on the face emphasize one another, adding to the overall feeling the illustration. I also like how you've somewhat blurred the background, and it's set at a slight angle. This makes me feel there's almost a distinct camera movment to this image, like a still taken from a movie.

The bottom image is a bit odd in some ways. The first thing I don't like is the flower over the image, probably just my personal taste, but it destroys the mood. The woman is a bit confusing, she's drawn well, but the dark line on her face is confusing. Is it part of her hair? Is it the shadow on her cheek to emphasize her cheekbone? I'm not too sure. I do like how her hand and face are emerching from the black.

These are some great drawing, I think the choice of black and white was great, you've managed to capture a mood without color, something that's hard to do.

im loving the top image, great tension and feel, she looks like shes in the middle of a transformation?

the chest area gets a little confusing however. and her left forearm at first look seems to be floating due to the black strap of clothing crossing it

more more!
