hello! I'm in no way shape OR form a good artist, but i have long wanted to fine tune my skills in drawing and so I figure to get the best results would be to start studying the human form!

Here are some of the sketches i have uploaded in the past few days. it would be great to get as much critisim as possible!

I really need to push myself and it would be great if anyone could help give their opinion, ideas, thoughts or whatever!

many thanks!

Hi Jackieboy,

I think you're doing great. Keep up with the quantity of work your doing in your sketchbook. I would suggest copying drawings from Bridgman and Vanderpoel. When doing quick poses find the longest lines first then construct anatomy on top to avoid pinching and overstating anatomy. If you're going to indicate a shadow pattern think about what is causing the shadow and if it's a form or cast shadow. The will each describe the form and wrap around it.

Keep it up,
