feels like it needs something in the mid ground. THe white design feels like foreground, everything else feels like backround. A more intricate design like you have in the upper right of the lighter portion, set in the middle, might do the trick. Very cool. Hard for me to find something to jibber jabber about. Feels mostly done to me.

yeah, i see what you mean, my eye kind of dashes all over the image, no sense of direction really.. i'll try what u suggested..
BTW really love your life drawing, dont change a thing, the ear is perfect.. looks elfy, stylised.. like Brian Froud's stuff..

i would design something in the middle. Captures the eye then you peal away to see the background and the outer edges. You need some impact in the middle. Have to make the viewer feel that the design made the page.
