New to Painting

Ok so i am new to painting this is my first painting class ever. it is oils and all i can use is a palette knife. i am having loads of fun with this :D 16 x 20 hw assignment 5.5 hours so far on it. if anyone has crits comments or any advice please feel free to share. that is why i post :D

do you mix with the palette knife too ?

that looks great. perspective i am not sure of? but hey its done all with a knife. it looks awesome

you might want to add some darker values to give it a more 3d looks. like under the cup, and all the darkest places.
