Hi, guys!

I've just recently set up a Livestream account, and I thought it might be a useful tool for mentoring. You know, for demonstrations or (in my case) where a student draws and mentors give criticism and keep a chat going on the side. It could be useful for live, on-the-spot tutoring. Up to fifty viewers can attend at a time, so more than one person, students and mentors alike, can come and discuss.

I'd imagine that there would be some pros and cons, though.

Cons:
-not enough people interested
-people are generally too busy and can't fit in the time
-timezone differences
-not good for watching long-term progress

Pros:
-good for things that can be decided a bit more quickly and therefore can critisized within a reasonable time-frame (sketching, color choices, small examples of rendering)
-more personal
-no wait for reply
-more thorough

Do you think this could fly? If so, would anyone be willing to mentor? If someone out there says yes, I'll post the link to the channel here (but you can find it in the first post of my sketchbook anyway--see signature).
