Hello there.
Thanks for looking in on my art work. This is some of my latest work and some more is to follow. It's for a board game, with a Magic the Gathering card type play system.
I pencil in my art and add color with photoshop. I'd love to get some feed back on these pieces. Any comments are more than welcome

Very nice. The gnome looks good and I like the texture of that last piece. Keep it up man...keep on "praying"...

I really like your work man, keep it up. The way you've coloured in your work with ps is unique in its own, since this is indeed for a boardgame having enough rich colour throughout to each corner of your images brings a sence of lighthearted wonder to the experience. I think that best captures the mood of any good board game!

tight. reminds me of mtg, especially the first elf. i like the way your colors came out, do you use any special brushes or techniques?

Looks good!

My only thought is that in all the work you posted except the welding gnome, your foregrounds tend to blend into your backgrounds quite a bit-- the whole piece kind of flattens out as a result. I'd recommend taking the time to either blur or desaturate the backgrounds so the pieces read more clearly.

Hi JCA,
Coz he can't see where the attacks are coming from and also I wanted his face expression to be seen. I could have drawn a different helmet in retrospect. I'll send a Em concerning my technique later.
Thanks for all the comments so far. It helps to get some fine tuning done concerning picture depth due to the strong colours that I agree tend to blend in all the volumes making it a bit hard to distinquish foreground and background.

Good work!

I specially like the first, the last and the one with the lizard-man. I would like to see how you work from the pencil sketch to the final colors.
