HellTaxi,
Holy moley man. These are awesome. The drawings are really nice and clean. As for the paintings, I'm hard pressed to find things wrong with them. On the sword-wielding fellow in front of the red, unless the shadowed part of his body is a different color that strong light should probably hit his right arm and part of his chest as well. The post-apocalyptic scene's sun seems a bit bright and takes away from the character if you look at the painting for a long time, but the glean on the knife balances that out some so well done. Also, his left arm shouldn't be that strongly lit on the side facing the viewer. It makes his arm look semi-translucent (which is an interesting idea... you'd only have to add slight shadows for the bones...). The tranny picture is great. Had me giggling. The only other painting I could critique is the godzilla one. I would sharpen up the foreground or the background to give the audience something to focus on.
Very impressive buddy. Looking forward to more.
Sincerely,
Chris

hey helltaxi
great stuff!!! i loved the cartoon, did you do it with pen and markers? nice farmer robot:D. for a critique, i think on the live hot wet painting the bouncer dudes stomach is too light, my eyes seemed to drift toward it. the one with the guy holding the gun and knife, i would love to see a more detailed background.

That metal head checklist reminded me of SO many people that I work with at the moment that I printed it and pinned it up at work! They were really scared by it too! :D
That DSG only took 30 minutes? I'm impressed. and a little jealous, I must get faster. Good stuff HT!

maldrid, obid, thanks guys :D
These sketches are being done with a technique ive recently discovered, where i make random scribbles with a marker, and pull forms out of it with the ink. Its very fun because it makes you come up with the strangest things. Its not always a success though, as you can see here. Ah well. More to come...
