Yeah, but at the same time, it's 5 dollars, and it's a really awful reproduction. Not really defending the guy, I loathe this sort of thing, but no one is really going to court over a drawing that sold for 5 dollars.
If it was much more, I'd be concerned though.
... Is shipping included in those 5 dollars or is it separate after checkout?

that's cool. This kid is managing to make money off prints of his fan art for milk money. I find it cute. Why you wanna hate. As for copyright infringement. I think it would be bad PR to sue a little kid for ignorantly selling fan art. But the kid should be informed. I'm sure some lawyer will.

he seems to be selling allot of pictures of characters i assume are copyrighted, im no expert on this stuff, but inst that illegal? --making money on other peoples creations without them knowing.
It's actually not illegal, according to an interview with some comic book creator on NPR I heard the other day.
The work is completely done by hand, which means people are buying an original production, even if the subject matter is not original. What would be illegal is if he made a copy of a comic strip or took a direct still, printed it, and sold it.
You should look into this yourself before trying it, because I'm not 100% sure I'm right, and the interview took place a while back, but the guy described it as legal to paint superman all day long, and sell that superman painting.
This is how famous painting replicas are legal to make and sell.
Either way, I'm buying at LEAST 50 of his "Guko" pencils. I hope he drew enough.

Fish usually drop their stuff somewhere and then the female comes to pick it up. So I guess that's what happens. Kinda boring, really :P
This is how famous painting replicas are legal to make and sell.
That would be different. It's legal to sell a copy of a famous painting, because nobody has the copyright anymore. The only thing that would be illegal would be claiming it is the real thing.
If somebody made a lot of money drawing superman without the right to do so I'm sure they'd be brought down.

That is so.....so so so depressing. Just pumping out as much low quality random crap in huge quanitites to flood the internet and get more traffic? ugg....
I have even run into them while searching for information before! They have absolutely nothing of value (except getting you to go to their website so they can get a little more money).
And reading about the owner it's completely obvious he doesn't care who he cheats as long as he "makes it big".

This reminds me of those terrible "how to draw" books that show up in barnes and noble, where the artist hardly seems qualified to lead a kindergarten finger painting class, let alone trying to teach art to others old enough to buy and use an art book.
Also: Narutu. I hate that show and even I can't stop laughing. Poor guy.

Just FYI: No it's not illegal. You can sell an original piece of art of any character you want, but as soon as you turn it into a product, it is copyright infringement. So he can sell the originals, but selling prints would be illegal. Putting the images on shirts and selling them would be illegal. That sort of thing.
