I'm just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for some perspective books? I'd like to learn how Feng makes his enviroments and how sammy makes his awesome vechiles. Any recommendations would be helpful :)

I think it would be cheaper to buy a 5 day seminar on the subject. Or maybe even a class.

THE best perspective book ever is Perspective for Comic Book Artists by David Chelsea. F** the title this book is for any artist. It goes into some crazy stuff about elipses and is great for getting you to think 3d.

Feng's DVDs won't teach you perspective -- they simply touch on it.
I suggest you look at "Successful Drawing" by Andrew Loomis. The tutorials on www.drawthrough.com are good, too.

I’ve done the tutorials on drawthrough and they were really helpful. Also, if you also just go through and look at his pictures you can get a good idea of how he works.

Hey, CIM do you have Fengs dvds? If so what do you think of them? Are they worth the money?

I have the Feng DVDs and it's worth buying one of them. I wouldn't get more than that. They're all very similar.

If they're worth the money really depends on what you're looking for.

I thought of that point after I wrote that. I was just wondering if he gave tips to speed up workflow and general drawing ability or you just watch Feng draw for a while. And like Joeslucher said it seems like you could just get the first two and you would be good to go.
