Hello CA!
I want to try out building models and sculptures, but I'm clueless on how to approach it in the first place! I did take a class two years earlier where I learned some basic skills, but I was never as strong in that class as I was in my 2D classes. I really do want to improve.
I'm hoping to eventually learn to be able to make models of creatures, characters, vehicles, etc. to help make an Entertainment Arts portfolio on top of the 2D material.
From the earlier class I learned basic things on how to work plaster, manipulate/cut wire, and work with sheet metal. We attached sheets of metal together by drilling holes and using rivets. I have some clay, and some sheet metal and riveting stuff. If its of any relevance, I also know how to 3D Model on a NURBS program, such as Rhinoceros.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
