Hello everybody

This is my first thread in this forum

I make this concept painting for a new movie, where iīm working for.
The storyline is about mutated birds, therefore the birds are larger than usual.

8 hourīs work in photoshop 7 wacom

sorry, for my bad english

nice atmosphere in this pic

the tree branches in teh foreground (black) make teh bird look like his head might be the size of a bear

because the branches in the front are so small compared to teh bird

Nice lighting, difused through the branches. Those birds must be HUGE!!! The fact that it has what I think is a human eyeball in it's mouth really does confuse my sense of space and size though.
It's definately a scary creepy image!

reminds me alot of the intro to diablo 1, where the warrior approaches the old shack and around there is a bird with an eyeball in its mouth. i know this seems like a pointless comment, but i am trying to think of better things to put in its mouth to show it as more of a predator than a scavenger. maybe it could have a whole head in its mouth, to show it really is mutated to huge proportions and could therefor be a predator. even if its not a large bird, its still a concept right?

brads3d - a whole head is too big for the bird. those are not so large. but cool idea:)

Gross... Haha. :D

Well, I know the bird eating an eyeball is pretty gross. But if the design called for the birds to be mutated larger than usual, I wouldn't have used to eyeball to describe the birds' sizes. Perhaps a hand or foot in the bird's beak?

very nice, mr adamek... :) i like the background and the bloodeffects most.

critcism: if the bird should appear large, the human eyeball must be smaller. and perhaps it would be cool if you reduce the birds' eye-size and "nose-hole" a bit to increase this largeness-effect... :evilbat:

I think the concept of a giant mutated bird is a bit comical. But the bird in that picture looks like it could at least put one serious dent in my car! Looks good!:p

yes, you are right. but is only a job and the film script is law.:D
