That was an awesome vid.
This one is a tad more cheesy, I'm afraid, but I'll be damned if it isn't a work of 'moving' art and worth seeing more than just a few times :)

Third and Seventh is one of the best videos ever. Also, Nuit Blanche, thanks to AsaB:
<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JVuUwvUUPro&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JVuUwvUUPro&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
Koyaanisqatsi is one of the most visually amazing things you can watch. The entire thing is available as one video on YouTube, but it has commercials, and is truly better watched on its own, but here's the trailer:
<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/PirH8PADDgQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/PirH8PADDgQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
And finally, The Fountain... one of the most beautiful stories and films I have ever seen, and one of the best scores, by Clint Mansell, I've ever heard:
<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/NDp-F3Y97ZQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/NDp-F3Y97ZQ&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

I posted the second one in the Cheer Me Up thread once because I was pumped for a long time after seeing it. Not sure it fits the general mood of that thread though.

Luckily old school Polaroid cameras (http://www.bizrate.com/cameras/polaroid-instant-camera/) are cheap and easy to find. The expensive and difficult to find part is the film. I did a little research. The film is far more sophisticated than the camera.
Here's a video about how they work

I have an sx70 and i use it pritty much daily. Film is not hard to comeby now when the impossible project finally has started to produce film. They have b&w film for the sx 70 and 600 cameras.
But the new film isnt that much trustworthy. To be honest it can be a bitch to use. But its great fun.
