kewl stuff just keep it up !
Im using currently the same book combination Bammes/Simblet,
tonight ive realized something, ive sketched with jaxons (oli pastels) on a huge paper ( 100cm X 50cm) ive sketched my hand and some human bones I got from my art teacher. Iver tryed to focus on space. it helped me alot in understanding how the bones / my hand realy looks like. Well at least it worked well on me...
as I said keep it up you're one of those guys im afraid of, when you'll reach my age your gonna kick my butt ^^

Hm, this is harder to explain than I thought , uhm I've tried to sketch it transparent its like sketching an dice transparent ...
hm I hope you dont mind but the best way is an example ill remove it if it bothers you...
http://friedrich.peschel.biz/galerie/galleries/sketchbook/DSC00788.jpg
After I sketched those I've got an better understanding how this thing looks like because I've been forced to turn it several times and touch it in order to get an idea how the surface realy works and how it looks like from the other side ...
