Hi all... my friend had some artwork and he knows zilch and I know prob as much as he does... can anyone recognize these pieces, or anything at all? Would love a pointer in the right direction and figured I try here before spending $$$ at a pro appraiser..... thanks! (sorry if this is the wrong section, let me know if it is)

I'm sorry, but 2 mil as in $2,000,000? Excuse my skepticism but can you please give me any more reference or why is it worth that much? I am working from ground zero here, thanks.

Welcome to sarcasm.
How do you expect us to know? It's not like there are only 5 artists in the world.
Look for someone who knows alot about far eastern art, they might be able to get you in the right direction, if they're able to help at all.

I posted this question to see if anyone here can help since I thought this was an art forum, or if anyone can send me to a specific place that i cant just google (which is how I found this place and a couple of others that I also posted to)... I guess I was wrong about this place... not sure why anyone would post a sarcastic response as if they have nothing better to do in their lives.

It's a stereotypical, Asian-influenced image with scrawled handwriting and a cheap frame. Odds are that it's a print and worth next to nothing.
You're welcome.

Its not print, it looks like an original oil on canvas or the like.

Ask an appraiser if you're serious. We make shit up all the time. Noah is just the tip of the iceberg dude. Bottom line is if you like it buy it and pay whatever YOU feel it's worth.
